Step 1: Install and launch PassFab iPhone Unlocker on your computer.

Missing components of iTunes could lead to this issue, follow the steps below to fix it:
Step 1: Launch Task Manager, find AppleMobileDeviceProcess.exe, then click end task.
Step 2: Open Control Panel, then go to Programs-Uninstall a program, uninstall all the programs with Apple Inc. as publisher.
Step 3: Download iTunes on https://www.apple.com/itunes/, then install it.
Step 1: Make sure to use an original Apple USB cord. Switch to another USB port on your computer.

Screen lock encrypted by 4-Digit, 6-Digt, Custom Numeric Code, Custom Alphanumeric code, Touch ID or Face ID.
Yes. removing the screen lock will wipe all the content on the device.
If Find My iPhone is enabled and your version is from iOS 10.2 to iOS 11.3, the data will not be lost after using PassFab iPhone Unlocker.
If the iOS version is below iOS 10.2, the data will be lost.
Download and install PassFab iPhone Unlocker. Connect your device to the Computer or Mac, click on Unlock Apple ID. If your device is supported, the removal process will start, otherwise it'll say "This device is not supported.
If your device doesn't meet the requirements below, PassFab iPhone Unlocker will show you "This device is not supported".
- Find My iPhone is enabled, the device is running iOS 11.4 or earlier version. And you have access to Settings app.
- Find My iPhone is disabled. We suggest you try your best to remember the Apple ID, while we expanding support for devices and iOS.
Kindly note that PassFab iPhone Unlocker only removes the Apple ID from the device, rather than Apple server, so the removal is not permanent. Make sure not to update iOS, reset all content and settings or restore your device with iTunes, or the device will get stuck on Activation Lock screen which PassFab iPhone Unlocker can't remove.

Step 1: Delete the firmware you downloaded previously. You can find it by clicking the Browse button on the firmware download screen.
Step 2: Make sure you have sufficient space left on the disk where you download the firmware.
Step 3: Connect to a stable network.
Step 4: Download the firmware using PassFab iPhone Unlocker instead of importing one downloaded from elsewhere.
The progress bar could stay at some point a little bit longer, it's normal, just wait for it to complete and make sure to keep your device connected during the process. If it got stuck longer than 30 minute, quit PassFab iPhone Unlocker, check your network connection, make sure you can visit apple.com. And then run the removal again.
